Best light: morning ceremonies for the marble staircase (east-facing), afternoon for the Banqueting Hall. Avoid the 3.30pm slot in winter — the light goes before you're done.
A real wedding here
A Friday-afternoon City Chambers wedding for sixteen guests ran in and out of the building in 90 minutes. We shot the ceremony, the staircase descent (twice — once for the couple, once for the families), and walked across to the Merchant City for the dinner shots. Total package: Hometown Hour.
