Hometown
rates.
Transparent wedding photography prices for couples getting married inside the EH, FK and STIR postcodes. No travel fee, no fuel surcharge, no inflated quote because someone Googled "Edinburgh wedding photographer". This is what it costs when I'm working from home.
Why these prices are public
Most photographers hide their numbers. I'd rather just show them. If we're already in the same postcode, half the cost of a wedding shoot is travel and time — so when there isn't any, the price comes down. These rates apply for any wedding inside Edinburgh, Falkirk, Larbert, Stenhousemuir, Linlithgow, Stirling and every village in between.

Straight answers
What couples actually ask.
Why are these rates lower than the rest of your site?
Because they only apply inside the EH, FK and STIR postcodes. No travel time, no overnight, no fuel — that saving goes to the couple. It's my home patch, and I'd rather shoot here often than chase quotes I'm not local to.
Do these rates cover Edinburgh city centre weddings?
Yes — every EH postcode is included, from the Signet Library and Prestonfield House to the Royal Botanic Garden and Dundas Castle. No travel fee inside the Edinburgh bypass.
What's included in the Falkirk and Stirlingshire area?
All FK postcodes (Falkirk, Larbert, Stenhousemuir, Polmont, Bo'ness, Grangemouth) and the STIR area covering Stirling, Bridge of Allan, Dunblane and Doune. The Kelpies, Callendar House, Falkirk Wheel and Stirling Castle all fall inside hometown rates.
Can I book just two hours for a register-office ceremony?
Yes — the Hometown Hour at £395 is built for exactly that. Edinburgh City Chambers, Falkirk Register Office, Stirling Old Town Jail — short ceremony, family groups, a walk to a nice doorway, done.
Do you offer payment plans?
Yes. 20% deposit holds the date, then monthly instalments up to the wedding. No interest, no admin fee.
What if my wedding is outside the Central Belt?
Then the standard CaptureTime rates apply — see the main /services page. These hometown rates are deliberately for the local area only.
